| Biography | |
| Born and educated in Switzerland. Cooper’s passion for photography developed through a long, circuitous route that took him, literally, to the ends of the earth. Life led him in the early 70’s to South Africa. By late 80’s Stephan decided to move to California, to expand his career in automotive photography. “I want to share an emotion with my viewers,” Cooper says. I’ve come to the point where I want to be looking at less. “Ultimately I want you to be able to relate to my photographs on an emotional level. |

Stephan uses the latest technology, CGI, as well as digital and traditional film. He has extensive experience in digital postproduction and print. Working mostly with advertising agencies and design studios, he has won numerous national and international awards, the latest being the prestigious 2005 “California on Location Award”. Stephan’s knowledge of studio and location lighting is a great technical asset. His calm disposition and positive attitude makes him easy to work with.
